Here Comes the Bride

A wedding card with no recipient in mind...that doesn't always happen, but this time it did!
I usually make my cards for the fun of it, then I use them when I need them, so no worries! This is another triple challenge card. It is for the Midnight Madness Sketch #7, Color Throwdown #48, and for my first challenge at 365 Cards (Day 112). Color Throwdown is one of my favorites, and the Midnight Madness sketch is becoming one of my new favorites! I love a good challenge!
We have a little bit of a lazy morning this morning, so I can take my time to post. Blogger is doing weird things again, apparently for everyone. A very happy birthday wish to Katie Cotton of Paper Makeup Stamps!!

I'm still so shocked by all of the news this past week. Three highly iconic figures all die in one week. Incredible. I was a teenager during the 80s, so Michael Jackson was very much a part of my life. And, can I just say, his songs are really fun to tap dance to! I was a Charlie's Angels fan, too. So, a farewell to Ed, Farrah, and Michael.

Card Details:
Stamps: Mary by Paper Makeup Stamps
Paper: Pink Pirouette cardstock and DSP, Baja Breeze CS and DSP, and Kraft by Stampin' Up
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Bride's Flowers; Love and Happiness Rubons by SU; Colorbok rhinestone stickers; CM oval cutters
Copics: R00, R01, R20, R21, E33, E40, E41, E57, BG72, G24, YG03

Hi Nancy, first let me say I really liked your post today. Yes, the news of these three wonderful people is so sad..I have shed some tears about it in the last day or so..I am such a softy :( I did a few "taps" in my day to Micheal my self. No on to this fab card. what a cute image..I do not think I have ever seen that one. I just love it. Your worked the sketch perfectly. Thank you so much for playing with us. Next weeks sketch it going to be a real challenge...I can not wait to see what you do with it :) Such a pleasure stopping by your blog.

Oh Nancy you did an incredible job with Mary, the sketch and the colors - WOW! I'm still in shock too - I loved MJ's music growing up and boy did I ever want to be Farrah when I played Charlie's Angels with my friends.

It really is a sad day with the Hollywood deaths. It is such a tragedy to hear of one loss much less three in one day. It makes you realize how short life is and how much we should appreciate each day that we are blessed with.

I love your MMSC card. It is such a cute image and you worked the sketch really well. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you for playing along with us at the MMSC.
