FBW163 Anything Goes!!

Happy Wednesday, Flutter By fans!! We are back again this week with an open challenge! We can't wait to see what you all come up with, but please don't forget to include an angel, butterfly, or fairy on your creation! If you would like to see more samples, get more information, and upload your card, please visit HERE.

This little cutie is one from a stash of stamped images that I had. She is from the Pure Innocence collection for My Favorite Things. Isn't she precious? I love the paper from Basic Grey called Green at Heart, so I used it for mose of my card, including all of the layers. The white layer is the only paper that is from Stampin' Up. The image is colored with Copic markers, and I got a little heavy handed with the Stickles on the Nestabilities shape! It happens!! The ribbon is really sweet from May Arts!

Thanks for stopping by today!

PTT23 A Double Header for you Today!!

I have a double header for you today at Party Time Tuesdays! We have some amazing sponsors this month at Party Time Tuesdays, and they are all listed below. However, I'm a bit partial to Paper Pretties, as you can imagine! The above card features a sepia card topper from Charlie's Ark, which is connected to Flower Soft. They are absolutely gorgeous images, and I used a tutorial from Flower Soft to just add watercolor pops of color to the image. The tutorial can be found HERE. The paper used in the above card is from one of our sponsors this month...The Robin's Nest. They totally spoiled us with amazing double-sided paper and great embellishments!

In the above card, I used my Dienamics dies from MFT, and I just love them!! I used a bit of Very Vanilla craft ink to whiten up the edges. I still can't find my Whisper White craft ink...it must be lost somewhere with all of my socks!! I used pastels from Stampin' Up to give a little color to my background with Tommy flying his kite. The sentiment is from Woodware USA.

If you would like to join in the party this week at Party Time Tuesdays, you can visit HERE for more details and to upload your card!

FBW151 Whimsy and Stars Cutie!

"Have a Blooming Good Day!" Well, I intend to! Today is our first day of spring break, so we are going to make the best of it! Haircut, cupcake, and lunch (not necessarily in that order, but maybe so!). Today at Flutter By Wednesday we have an open challenge -- just don't forget to include your butterfly, fairy, or angel on your project. I almost forgot to add my butterflies, but there they are resplendent in yellow! If you would like to join in with our challenge this week, you can see samples, get more details, and upload your card HERE. You must check out the winners for the fabulous prizes!!

My image today is a new one that I purchased from Whimsy and Stars Studio, and the Etsy store is owned and all of the images designed by Mabelle RO! They are awesome. I first encountered her images in The Angel Company catalog, and I was so surprised to see that I could buy her other designs in digital form from her (thanks to the enabling of Michelle, Danni, and Jackie!) I adore cuteness, and her designs just overflow with CUTE!!

FBW150 Celebrate our Sesquicentennial!!

How is that for your big word of the day? How often do we get to use the word sesquicentennial? Woohoo! Flutter By Wednesday is celebrating their 150th challenge, and we have some amazing surprises for you! Check HERE for more exciting details!

Now, on to the "OOPS" section! Remember the old adage, "do as I say, not as I do"? Well, that would apply today! My brain doesn't seem to be working, and I didn't follow the challenge guidelines. Our challenge this week is to use soft pastel colors. Well, mine don't exactly look soft or pastel. I'm so sorry! Please, do as I say, not as I do!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pure Innocence by My Favorite Things; sentiment by Unity stamps

Paper: Sweet Pea DSP; Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, and white by SU

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Summer Sun for sponging

Accessories: Copic markers; rhinestone flourish; prima flowers; Nestabilities;

Cuttlebug embossing folder; SU oval and scalloped oval punches

Two challenges comin' at ya!!

The above card is for the Diedrich Dare this week with a lovely sketch from Kaitlyn. I used an image that a friend sent me from the Pure Innocence line from MFT. I can't believe that it took me this long to use it!! They are adorable!

The second card is from the Because I said So challenge over at the Club Anya blog. The idea was to have your child pick all of the supplies for your card. Well, that could've been very interesting, but Meredith did a pretty good job! She just loves this card!!

My supplies from Meredith...we had to nix the corner punch due to a minor mishap!! Don't ask!!
Sorry for the quick post...I'm under the wire!! Cheers!
