Countdown to Flutter By...

Only one week until our Flutter By Wednesday hiatus is over!! We're fluttering back next Wednesday the 7th, and we are starting things off right!! We can't wait to see your creations again!!
I tried a different technique with this card...I cased from a friend! I used chalk inks and smeared/rubbed/whatevered them onto one side of the vellum. Then, I stamped these little gems from Woodware USA on the other side. The card took all of 10 minutes, which is a really nice change sometimes!! One butterfly is a little light, but I decided to go with the seeming imperfection.
Don't forget about the design team call over at Woodware USA...it is open until July 21st...details HERE.
It's my 9th anniversary today, but I think my family forgot it. Oh well...let's see if my hubby remembers! Should I make myself a card today?
Last but not least, I finally hit 20,000 posts, and I'm waiting for the redesign on my new blog. SO...that means that very soon, I'm going to have my first ever blog candy. Be on the lookout...I've been saving for a while!

SCH Fabulous Friday - A Little Birdie

Can you believe that it is Friday again? Wow...where do the weeks go? The challenge this week was to use no designer paper. That was a tough one. I can remember when I first started stamping that I never used designer paper, but I quickly got out of that habit!! LOL! Going back to that stage was difficult, so I scaled the card down a bit. The image is Barn Swallow from Sugar Creek Hollow, and I hadn't used the image yet (how is that possible?).
My team mates have some fabulous creations for you today! Check them out!!

They have some adorable images, and we are looking forward to heading up the team. Check out the design team requirements HERE if you may be interested!! Check out their site to see all of the images that they have.

Party with the Red, White, and Blue!!

It's Party Time Tuesday!! Welcome back, and we were so delighted to see so many entries last week. Thank you all for making our challenge a great success!! This week the challenge is a color one, and you guessed it--red, white, and blue!! Don't forget to include your birthday sentiment on the front to be considered for our top 3. And, if you are uploading to any other galleries, please use the tag PTTC4!! The colors got a bit off in the photo. My designer paper is shimmery, so the blue gets a little washed out, but trust me, it's blue! I just love this paper, and I have had it for a LONG time.
The stamp is from an adorable set by Woodware USA stamps...check them out! They are an awesome quality clear stamp and a great value!
My fellow partiers this week have created some amazing cards, and they would be so appreciative of your visit!
Card Details:

Sugar Creek Hollow Fabulous Fridays - Load It Up!!

Our challenge this week at Sugar Creek Hollow was to LOAD IT!! Well, sometimes that can be a recipe for disaster with me, but this one turned out just fine!! I started out doing this week's Midnight Madness sketch, but I couldn't fit all of the elements on it, so it wound up like this!! This is a wonderful tile from Sugar Creek Hollow, and it is paired in the store with the bee tile, which is another favorite of mine!!

It was quite freeing to be able to rip the paper, and I came away unscathed. Woohoo!! I was even able to use my favorite Chocolate Chip satin ribbon with my Bow Easy, of course. What did I do before the Bow Easy (well, I tied a lot of knots!!)?

Don't forget to visit my Sugar Creek Hollow sisters to see their amazing creations!!
Card Details:
Stamps: Butterfly Tile by Sugar Creek Hollow
Paper: DSP from Hobby Lobby; Chocolate Chip and Orchid Opulence by Stampin' Up

I won a drawing a couple of weeks ago, and it was for a gift certificate from Stamp and Create (great selection and fast shipping!!). Well, I had fun, and this is one of the stamps that I purchased. It is from CC Designs...love those cute little stamps!!

A Ballerina Anya Thank You!!

TGIF!! It has been a really long and really strange week! With Monday being a holiday, it just seemed to throw everything else off!! Last weekend, Meredith had her dance recital, and their costumes looked like chickens. One of their songs was actually "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens," and they were absolutely adorable!! Today was Meredith's last dance class, so I made this card for her teacher, and I knew that I needed to pay homage to the wonderful costume!

It's Graduation Season

I've got another graduation card for you. I've been using the same stamp, but it is so versatile that my cards all look a bit different!! Today's card is for two challenges: Midnight Madness sketch (MMSC56) and Paper Sundaes color challenge this week (PSC20), which was kraft and blue.
I'm having a little withdrawal today...Flutter By Wednesday is taking the month of June off, so my card doesn't have a butterfly, fairy or angel anywhere on it!! Whoa...that's strange!!
Sugar Creek Hollow is having a blog hop this Saturday...don't miss it, there will be some awesome prizes for the winners!!

Stamps: Graduation cap by Sugar Creek Hollow
Paper: Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, and Kraft DSP by Stampin' Up
