Paper Pretties Monday Whatnots - "Oh, the places you'll go!"'s Monday, and it's Halloween! It doesn't get any more frightening than that! Just kidding! We have some fun releases today at Paper Pretties. In fact, we have three! Two from ARTish and one really awesome sentiment set called Seuss Truths! I'm a lover of all things Seuss, so this was a fun set! The sentiments can easily stand on their own on a card, but when I saw "Oh, the places you'll go" and the Eiffel Tower, well, you know, I just had to do it!

If you would like to join us this week and use a sentiment, you can upload your cards HERE! Thanks for stopping by today!

FBW175 - Oh Scrap!

Our Fluttery challenge this week is to use our scraps, and I think I may have gotten a little carried away!! I have an entire box of just wonderful Basic Grey scraps. Well, I pulled them out and stuck them willy-nilly on a square piece of paper. From there, I took out my SU Sizzix die of butterflies and cut away. So, it gave the butterflies a crazy quilt kind of feel to them. For the antennae I grabbed my red ribbon scraps, and VOILA! The sentiment is from Woodware USA, and the rest of the paper is from Stampin' Up (Real Red, Night of Navy and their respective designer papers).

We have a guest designer this week at Flutter By Wednesday -- Barbara -- please pop on over to her blog and give her some love! If you would like to participate this week, please upload your scrappy creations HERE. Don't forget to include your butterfly, fairy or angel!

Thanks for stopping by!

FBW174 Delicious Doodles!

There is a whole lot going on in this creation...kind of like my life lately!! So, I just went with it! The wonderful ribbon on this project is all recycled from a local gift shop, so I felt good using it! The orange is really wide and lends itself well to be crinkled. Then, the black and white striped ribbon was just screaming to be used with my Bow Easy. And, I went with it!

Our challenge this week at Flutter By Wednesday is an open one, and we have a sponsor this week -- Delicious Doodles! Isn't this little fairy just simply yummy? She is a keeper! I colored her with Copic markers, and I used my Nestabilities to cut out the mounting shapes. The Tangerine Tango layer is embossed using a Sizzix embossing folder in a spider web shape. I sponged the edges of the Kraft layer to give it a little more dimension. The designer paper is Eerie from Basic Grey, and the other layer is Chocolate Chip...definitely some old standbys!

If you would like to join us this week, don't forget to have your fairy, butterfly, or angel on your card! Upload your creation HERE!

Thanks for stopping by today!
