PTT48 Anything Goes!!

Hello everyone! I hope you aren't all partied out because the party is going strong at Party Time Tuesdays! We have some fabulous sponsors this week -- My Mind's Eye (paper), 3 Girl Jam (ribbon), and my image is from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps! We are also sponsored by Karen's Doodles, and we have a prize from My Pink Stamper!! That is one rock-solid lineup, don't you think?

I tried to mirror my tree in the image with the trees on my paper...the red just offset it a bit! I loved this cute little tree, and she was fun to color! I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and will continue to prosper in the New Year!

Join us HERE with your anything goes creation!

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge - Winter Wonderland

Has everyone recovered from Christmas? We had a really low-key day yesterday! We woke up at 7, Meredith was done opening presents at 7:20, and we were off to church by 8:15. When we arrived home around 10 or so, it was just the beginning of the laziness of the day! I love days like that!

Today, our Monday challenge at Paper Pretties is Winter Wonderland. I've chosen this little cutie named Breezy to play with today! He is a bargain as he comes with the image and three sentiments! The paper is from the line 12 Days of Christmas from My Mind's Eye, and I just love it! It is so bright and cheerful for the holidays! The image is cut out using a Nestabilitiy image that is specific to Scrap-mart.com. The snowflakes are leftovers from the snowflake border behind the image.

If you would like to join in the fun, please upload your card HERE. Thanks for stopping by today!

Party Time Tuesdays #47 - Ribbons, ribbons, RIBBONS!!

Welcome to the party!! Are you all ready for the holidays, if that is what you celebrate? December always seems to be a mad dash! Our daughter still has three days of school this week with her party and a special mass being tomorrow. Unfortunately, all of her friends in public school have been out since last Friday, so she is feeling a little left out. She just keeps telling them that she gets a longer spring break than they do! Gotta love 7 year old logic!

Our challenge this week at Party Time Tuesdays is to use ribbon on our creations. We are sponsored again this week by My Mind's Eye and 3 Girl Jam, and our stamps are sponsored by

both The Greeting Farm and Bugaboo Stamps. Half of our team worked on either image. I have this adorable one from Bugaboo! I just love the little reindeer! I have kept the style of the card simple by accenting the image with the ribbon! The color of this ribbon is called Mistletoe...very apropos! If you would like to join us and have a chance to win, please upload your card HERE!

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge - Red, white, and a color of your choice!

I wanted to go for a little different shape for my card this week! We have a color choice this week -- red, white, and another color. I chose green! I ended up not having any time to be able to make my Christmas cards this year, so I guess I'm not burned out yet! The few that I have will go to our close family.

This little cutie is Emalina, and she comes with four sentiments for you to choose from. I used Nestabilities to cut out the scalloped shapes. Then, I used my Creative Memories circle cutter to cut the shape of the card. The "pearls" around the card are made using my gold and silver Viva Decor pearl pens. Love them!

If you would like to join us this week, please visit HERE for more details! Thanks for stopping by today!

My late posts!! Partying with PTT

I'm afraid that I have to ask all of you for forgiveness. December is literally kicking my behind! I seem to barely be home, and my house is only about an eighth decorated for Christmas. I believe that this my be my craziest December on record! However, I'm trying to find some balance and not become stressed out! I refuse to act like Scrooge! That being said, I hope that all of you are enjoying the month. I'm also trying to remain centered and remember that we as a family are celebrating Jesus' birth, and that now is a perfect time to reflect on how we can share our time, talents, and bounty with those who go without.

My two above cards are for this week's and last week's (hangs head in shame) Party Time Tuesdays posts. They were featured on time on the blog, but craziness prevented me from posting them on here. We were so graciously sponsored by My Mind's Eye with a fantastic pack of paper this month. Aren't the colors gorgeous. And, we have amazing images from Paper Makeup and The Paper Shelter!! All of these sponsors are just wonderful people who make wonderful products! The last sponsor provided us with the lucious ribbon--3 Girl Jam, and the colors we were given were Holly Berry and Mistletoe! It's not too late to join in the fun and win some prizes at Party Time Tuesdays! You can enter your card HERE!

I will see you on Monday for Paper Pretties!!

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge

Well, it is getting closer to Christmas, and everything seems to be running at a feverish pace. Hopefully, I can remember to breathe and enjoy the season with friends and family. I did get to have a fun night out with some of my stamping buddies last week, so that was a definite highlight!

This week, we have a challenge to use ribbon on our creations. This is one of my new ones I received in a Stampin' Up order...love the scalloped polka dots! I have used one of this week's new releases--Oh Tiny Tree. Isn't it adorable? I knew that I had to choose that one! The paper is from an old pack of Basic Grey called Mistletoe and Pear. I just adore it, and I've been taking it out lately! The image is colored with Copics, and I've used a Nestie shape to cut it out!

If you would like to join us this week, please visit HERE for more details and to upload your card!

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge - the 12 Days of Christmas!

Welcome to Monday!! December has seriously ramped up in the Bush household (as if I needed it to get busier!), and we are in full swing with some of our halls decked! Well, we have a tree, and sometimes, that is half the battle! Later in the week, I'll post a project that I have been working on using all of my ribbon scraps! It has been a good "in front of the TV" project!

This week at Paper Pretties we have a challenge called the 12 Days of Christmas. So, make your card to reflect some aspect of the 12 days of Christmas. Mine is a bit roundabout, but it reminds me of all of the birds in the song, and this is a likely tree that they are on! A little lame, but you get the picture...you can fit most anything into that theme! If you would like to play along, please upload your card HERE!

PTT44 - Anything Goes

Hello! It's Tuesday, and it is time to party at Party Time Tuesdays this week! I have two cards to feature for you...my card for this week (above), and my card from last week (below). We have an anything goes challenge this week, and we are featuring some awesome stamps from Crafts and Me and products from Viva Decor! On my card above, I was able to use the Viva Decor embossing creme! Wow, it was amazing! I did have a booboo, but that was my fault! Trying to cover it up always makes for an interesting combo of things. I actually used a copper Viva Decor Pearl Pen to help hide it! The way that the embossing creme puffs up is gorgeous! The photo doesn't do it justice!

My second card features stamps from Simply Betty. I requested the mermaid, not really thinking through the fact that our challenge theme last week was snow! So, I had to get a little creative, and I created my own snow globe! Too funny! I even had to create a base for it with one of my Nestability shapes! The background paper is from a 6x6 Bo Bunny pack, and the cardstock is Marina Mist and Soft Suede.

If you would like to join us this week, you can upload your creation HERE. Thanks for stopping by today!

Bugaboo and Paper Pretties United!!

We have a combined challenge today with Bugaboo and Paper Pretties! Our Paper Pretties team is playing along with the Bugaboo team in this special challenge -- silver, black and bling! You can't get more festive than that, now can you? I was privileged to work with this adorable image -- Ava, Mistletoe Fairy! I just adore her. I had to give her some color, but I believe that the sparkle on the two background papers will more than make up for the silver and black bling!

The image is colored with Copic markers, and I've highlighted the image by using a Nestability to cut it out! The border punch on the black glitter paper is from Martha Stewart. If you would like to play along with the Bugaboo challenge, please visit HERE for more details!

I have to apologize a bit about my card! It is a true comedy of errors! I have a hurt leg that I have to stay off of, so I am stuck in either the bed or on the couch. I hobbled up late to make my card into the craft room where I knew I could sit down and do it. Well, I finished. And, I realized that my camera is in the car, in the rain, and the cold. So, I take out my phone. Well, for whatever crazy reason, there are these gray lines throughout the picture when I take it in the usual place. My craft room is a mess...everywhere. I take the picture on my nearest surface...my Scor-Pal! YIKES...then, I email it to myself. I'm so hi-tech! Not my best picture effort, but I love the card!

Paper Pretties Monday Whatnots - Happy Thanksgiving!

It is only a week away--Thanksgiving--you know that holiday that gets lost in between Halloween and Christmas. At least the retailers see it as a lost holiday. However, we are "giving thanks" this week at Paper Pretties, and we have two great images to release today. The one I chose to work with is called Cornucopia, and it was fun to color all of those fruits and vegetables! The sentiment is also part of the set. I accented the sentiment with some of my Viva Decor Bronze Pearl Pen. The panel behind the sentiment is matted with brown glitter paper. It needed a little va-va-voom!

If you would like to join the challenge this week of giving thanks, please find more details and upload your card HERE. Thanks for stopping by today!

FBW179 That's What Friends Are For

Hello Friends!! We have a friendship theme this week at Flutter By Wednesday! So, unearth your butterfly, fairy, or angel stamps, die cuts, stickers etc. and join the fun!! If you would like to join us this week, you can upload your card and gather more details HERE!

I've used a pack of paper that I bought on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I'm a lover of Basic Grey, so when I saw this Origins 12x12 pack for $5, I just had to have it! The stickers came with the pack, and this paper was actually not in the 6x6 version of the paper pack. It's gorgeous! The die cut, Chocolate Chip, and Daffodil Delight cardstock is all from Stampin' Up!

We have a guest designer this week at FBW, so give Leanne a warm, friendly welcome!

Thanks for stopping by today, my friends! This one's for you!

PTT41 Bling in On!

Hello lovelies!! We are getting blingy and sparkly at Party Time Tuesdays this week! We have wonderful images from Paper Shelter and Sparkle Creations!! And, don't forget VIVA DECOR!! I am really enjoying working with my glitter liner and pearl pens! They are awesome!

I went in search of Viva Decor tutorials on Youtube for some inspiration on this card. I found a fun one HERE. I ran into a few snags...didn't have a great swirl, it didn't show up well with the Versamark, and then I went off book and tried to add a swirl/flourish of my own. Anywho...it was still pretty, so I just went with it! It can't be perfect all of the time! Just know that Versamark stands out better on cardstock rather than tone on tone designer paper!

If you would like to join us this week at the party, please upload your card HERE! We can't wait to see how you get your BLING on!!

Card Details:
Stamps: Holiday Emily by Sparkle Creations; sentiment from Woodware USA
Paper: Mistletoe and Pear by Basic Grey; Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze by SU
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Copic markers; Nestabilities; ribbon; SU punches; Viva Decor glitter liner in sapphire and pearl pen in Ice White

FBW178 Giving Thanks

Hello Fluttery fans--it's Wednesday, and we have a beautiful challenge for you this week! We are giving thanks and showing gratitude. When I saw this little beauty, I knew that yellow and blue were going to be my go to colors! I also finally used my large butterfly border from EK Success...it is a beauty!

The designer paper is unknown because it was in my scrap pile! The cardstock is Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight by Stampin' Up. I used a Viva Decor glitter pen in sapphire for my accents...I just love them. I don't think I will ever need to buy pearls to stick on again! The sentiment is from Woodware USA, and the main image is from Sweet Pea! I love it, and this is the first time it has been inked!

If you would like to join us this week at Flutter By Wednesday, please visit HERE for more details and to upload your card. Don't forget your fairy, angel, or butterfly--I've got two of those covered this week! Thanks for stopping by!
