What a way to start off the new year! A clean and simple card with a hip-shaking Zumba hippo!! It doesn't get better than that!! I actually used an earlier sentiment to go with my lovable Hippo, so these sentiments are very versatile! And, you have to love Simmons the mouse with his hoard of junk food! Boy, I've had my fill of that lately! So, it's time to dust off the sneakers, hunt for the food scale, and whip our bodies back into shape for 2012! Swimsuit season isn't that far off!

FBW163 Anything Goes!!

Happy Wednesday, Flutter By fans!! We are back again this week with an open challenge! We can't wait to see what you all come up with, but please don't forget to include an angel, butterfly, or fairy on your creation! If you would like to see more samples, get more information, and upload your card, please visit HERE.

This little cutie is one from a stash of stamped images that I had. She is from the Pure Innocence collection for My Favorite Things. Isn't she precious? I love the paper from Basic Grey called Green at Heart, so I used it for mose of my card, including all of the layers. The white layer is the only paper that is from Stampin' Up. The image is colored with Copic markers, and I got a little heavy handed with the Stickles on the Nestabilities shape! It happens!! The ribbon is really sweet from May Arts!

Thanks for stopping by today!

PTT11 April Showers

April Showers hopefully bring May flowers because we've had one heck of a ride here! Last week we had a wind storm that knocked down two trees, and a hail storm 5 days later that brought golf ball (even some tennis ball) size hail. And, there was torrential rain last night. What is going on? Well, I hope the May flowers are as vibrant as the ones on my card today! They will brighten any day, don't you think?

Our challenge this week at Party Time Tuesdays is being sponsored by Glitterbabe Digis, and I was given these adorable rainboots! I couldn't resist! And, shouldn't all rain boots be fire engine red? YES! So, our theme this week is showers of all kinds! Upload your creations HERE! I have used the above sketch for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #112. It's a beauty, so check it out!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Sugar Creek Hollow - Stitchin' up a storm!

Happy Saturday everyone! I finally have my computer back, so I am getting back into my crafting groove!! Hopefully you are all doing well! Our challenge this week is to use stitching on our cards. Well, the sewing machine was buried, so I decided to use faux stitching with my gold pen. I created an echo stitch around the outside of my card. Don't forget that March is still anniversary month at Sugar Creek Hollow--we still have the naming of an image contest coming up. If you would like to enter your card and get more details on this contest, please go HERE.

I don't have Photoshop, so I wasn't able to make a picture of the random.org results, so you are just going to have to trust me. Out of 26 comments, random.org picked 7 for the blog candy. That makes Patti P the winner!! I have your email, Patti, so I will be in contact with you!!

Card Details:
Stamps: March flower of the month by Sugar Creek Hollow
Paper: Botanical Gazette DSP, So Saffron, and Chocolate Chip by Stampin' Up
Ink: none
Accessories: Nestabilities; Copic markers; SU ribbon; Cuttlebug embossing folder; Creative Memories gold pen; Martha Stewart corner punch; May Arts ribbon

PTT7 A Whole Lotta Craftin' Going ON!

We have an awesome challenge for you this week at Party Time Tuesdays, and we have multiple sponsors this week! The challenge is to make an easel card this week using the sketch below from our sketch artist -- Stacy Koo. We used a wonderful tutorial from the ladies at Twosdays Techniques, and you will love their work! Remember that you can win a subscription to their tutorials. All of the details and your chance to enter can be found HERE.

I couldn't fit the shamrocks on my easel card, so I decided to make a little gift enclosure card that measures 3x3. I actually don't have any shamrock stickers, die cuts, or stamps, so I easily made this one from my heart Nestabilities dies. It was fun! The cute little flower stickers are from another sponsor of ours -- Circle B Enterprises. You will be amazed at their inventory, and the prices and service are exceptional!!

My easel card features our last sponsor -- Baby Bud Designs. We were so fortunate to be given adorable images to work with. I actually used two on my easel card, one that I was given and a free one that was given away by Baby Bud Designs. I had to use them together with Stacy's sketch!
