Fun in the Sun

It's a scorcher here in Charlotte with a heat index of close to 100 degrees. Here comes the heat, not my favorite time of the year, but I decided to make the best of it by hitting my craft room. Of course, I'm avoiding cleaning the house, but I can't be perfect!! And, I packed 7 challenges into this card...is that a record for me? It might be!!

Card Details:

Stamps: Lily at the Beach by Pink Cat Studios
Paper: Kaleidoscope and Sweet Always DSP, Only Orange, Melon Mambo, and Choc. Chip CS by Stampin' Up
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic markers; Spica glitter pens; silk flower; rhinestone stickers; Nestabilities Labels One; Sizzix embossing folder for SU; ribbon;

FBW111 A Double Whammie!!

I made this card first with the butterfly (there is absolutely no stamping on this card!), but I wasn't sure about it. So, I made the card below to replace it for FBW111, and lo and behold, the butterfly card grew on me. I thought, 'why not just show both'? And, there you have it folks! The challenge this week at Flutter By Wednesday is an open one, but don't forget to use a butterfly, fairy, and/or an angel on your card! We are taking the month of June off at Flutter By Wednesday, but we will be back in July ready and raring to go, so don't forget about us!!

My Tilda card today is also for Flutter By Wednesday #111. In addition, I have done it for the following challenges:

Spread Your Wings and Fly!

Happy Monday! Happy Monday! Happy monday! happy monday. Who am I kidding? It's Monday; it's cold; it's raining. There is a reason that there is a song titled, "Rainy Days and Mondays." It was especially bittersweet because we had a beautiful day yesterday (high in the upper 60s), and we were outside for much of the day.
However, I'm trying to make the most of it! Today's card is a mixture of challenges with a new set of stamps that I bought on the BST forum on SCS...love that place!
