FBW #63 I Really Want ICE CREAM!!

Hello, Flutter By girls!! I'm so happy to see you! It's been a crazy week, but I took some "me" time to create my card this week!! I was finally able to ink up one of my cards that I ordered from Faerie Art Song stamps...I can't believe that I got as many stamps as I did on one sheet! This one was especially cute, and it reminded me of the challenge this week! Fortunately, or unfortunately, in my moment of inspiration for the card this week, I somehow missed a detail! I for some reason read summery card, but the challenge was actually Spring Fever/create an outdoorsy card (a big thanks to Kimmie). Of course, I did the obligatory hand slap against the forehead, and a big "duh" came out! Well, let's see if we can work this out. I thought she was looking longingly at the ice cream cones. And, we all know that we have to go out in warm weather and outdoors to order an ice cream cone (even fairies!). Oh well, I tried!! And, she is a fairy, so I'm in the ball park! The one thing I loved about this is that she looks guilty when she is eyeing something, and what better to feel guilty about than ice cream!!

So sorry for the confusion. Please visit my other team members' blogs for more Flutter By inspiration. Wednesday is a day I look forward to because I have so many wonderful blogs to visit! When you make your creation, please be sure to link it on Danni's blog using Mr. Linky!

The set above the card is a new one that is going to be released by The Greeting Farm on July 1st, and Jessica Deidrich designed it for them. She is super excited, and she is offering it free to one lucky winner on her blog!! I love butterfly sentiments...what a perfect accent to all of our wonderful butterfly stamps!!

Awe she is adorable and your colouring is beautiful. Love those papers and forget the scene as this little lass looks as if she is gonna win that icecream.
Hugs,
Nicola -x-

That is adorable Nancy!

She is adorable! I think fairies go outside to eat ice cream cones because they don't want them to drip in their tiny homes!

Blessings,
Christine

Well the challenge was spring fever/outdoor card and if Ice cream doesn't make me think of summer I don't know what does!! I think your card is perfect and that image is ADORABLE. Great card, nancy!

It's wonderful, Nancy! I don't know what person doesn't associate ice cream with Spring and Summer. ;O)

Oh she is the cutest!! I think I sort of read the theme incorrectly too - I thought we were supposed to create a scene -- I guess I interpreted outdoorsy as a scene! And besides - ice cream screams to me any season! It just screams to me!! Hugs, Harriet
