FBW152 - A Recipe Challenge
I am going to apologize for the condition of my photo...we are without a computer, and I'm at the mercy of other devices to keep up with my blog photos! This is the unedited, un-watermarked version of my card! However, it is done!! We have a wonderful recipe challenge for you this week at Flutter By Wednesday -- 3 flowers, 2 patterned papers, and 1 button! It was fun, and I loved being able to dust off my prima flowers and buttons! My image is a Pure Innocence design by My Favorite Things. The paper is from Prima, and the cardstock is Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip by Stampin' Up. I used Nestabilities (of course) and Copic markers to highlight the image!! If you would like to join us for this week's challenge, please visit HERE to upload your card!! Thanks for stopping by today!!

Paper Pretties - Monday Whatnots, Tuesday Edition
Another quickie post...lack of computer capabilities really stinks!! You know how I got my picture for this post? I had to copy it off the post from the Paper Pretties blog. The pic is on my camera, but we are on someone else's computer, and well, the rest is just terribly tragic (LOL!). So, here I am with my wonderful new image from ARTish for Paper Pretties. Hopefully, my computer issues will be solved soon (with the purchase of a new computer...GRRR!).
If you would like to take a gander at all of the other creations from my lovely team mates, please visit HERE! You won't be disappointed! Thanks for bearing with me! Just wait until tomorrow...an unedited version of my card for Flutter By Wednesday! That should be interesting!

Sugar Creek Hollow - Circles and a Sketch
Hello Sugar Creek Hollow fans!! We're back this lovely Saturday with a sketch that has so many wonderful circles on it!! I know that you will love it! You can join us this week, so click HERE for more information and to upload your card. We'd love to see what you can create with this sketch!
I'm knee deep in my garage getting ready for a sale next Saturday called Treasures in the Trunk. It won't be at my house, so I'll have to haul all my "junk" to the church parking lot to sell! Hopefully, all will go well, and I can have a little cash in my pocket! The process of pricing everything is daunting, and I'm finding myself a little sentimental with some of our daughter's things. However, they are just things (at least I have to keep reminding myself of this!).
Card Details:
Stamps: Dress Form and sentiment by Sugar Creek Hollow
Paper: Stella and Rose by My Mind's Eye; Basic Black and Kraft by Stampin' Up
Ink: Kraft and Riding Hood Red ink for sponging
Accessories: Nestabilities; Cuttlebug embossing folder; SU ribbon; Pearl brads; Prima flourish rhinestones

"Have a Blooming Good Day!" Well, I intend to! Today is our first day of spring break, so we are going to make the best of it! Haircut, cupcake, and lunch (not necessarily in that order, but maybe so!). Today at Flutter By Wednesday we have an open challenge -- just don't forget to include your butterfly, fairy, or angel on your project. My image today is a new one that I purchased from Whimsy and Stars Studio, and the Etsy store is owned and all of the images designed by Mabelle RO! They are awesome. I first encountered her images in The Angel Company catalog, and I was so surprised to see that I could buy her other designs in digital form from her (thanks to the enabling of Michelle, Danni, and Jackie!) I adore cuteness, and her designs just overflow with CUTE!!

Paper Pretties Monday Whatnots, Tuesday Edition - In Bloom
2nd post today -- scroll down for Party Time Tuesdays post
We have two beautiful new images to debut at Paper Pretties! ARTish has pulled out some gorgeous floral images for you -- Roses and Crocuses! Just in time for spring. Spring is in full swing here, but I heard from my mother in western NY, and they had snow yesterday. Boy, is that ever disheartening. We can actually pick strawberries right now, and they have snow. Ain't that a kick in the head? If you would like to see what my wonderful team mates have created, please visit HERE for more inspiration!

My beautiful butterflies are from Jolee's, and I received them from Circle B Enterprises...the most awesomely priced place for stickers of all kinds. Check them out! Woodware USA #23 - Punches and/or Die Cuts
This week at Woodware USA our challenge is to use punches and/or die cuts on your card. That should be an easy challenge, right? I can't seem to get enough of all of the shapes that I have. In fact, I think that I reach for my Nestabilities every day!
I was able to use one of my new sets from Woodware USA today, and it is called Fancy Cakes. Weddings are on the brain in my family as my niece prepares for her wedding in September. This is a beautiful set, and I was also able to dust off the embossing powders and use them on my card. Now, there is a technique that I haven't been using lately!
Thanks for stopping by today! If you would like to join the challenge, you can find details and upload your card HERE.

Sugar Creek Hollow Sensational Saturday is Monochromatic
Liza Bunny is pretty in pink today! Our challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow is to make a monochromatic card, and I just had to go with pink. It's such a girly color, and I love it! If you would like to join us this week, we would love to have you! Just upload your card HERE, and you will be on your way!
I have used Liza Bunny from Sugar Creek Hollow and colored her with Copic markers (C1 and C3 to be exact), and I have highlighted her by using the Nestabilities Labels 16. The card stock is Melon Mambo and white, and the designer paper for both her dress and the background of the card is Euphoria by Basic Grey (one of my all time faves for Basic Grey). The flowers are from Micheals, and the bow is SU ribbon tied with my handy-dandy Bow Easy. If you don't have one, buy one! They are my go to tool! And, once you get the hang of using one, it's all good!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a joyous weekend. I'm just hoping no wind or hail this weekend...not sure how much more our poor little house can withstand! Enjoy!

Now, on to the "OOPS" section! Remember the old adage, "do as I say, not as I do"? Well, that would apply today! My brain doesn't seem to be working, and I didn't follow the challenge guidelines. Our challenge this week is to use soft pastel colors. Well, mine don't exactly look soft or pastel. I'm so sorry! Please, do as I say, not as I do!

PTT11 April Showers
April Showers hopefully bring May flowers because we've had one heck of a ride here! Last week we had a wind storm that knocked down two trees, and a hail storm 5 days later that brought golf ball (even some tennis ball) size hail. And, there was torrential rain last night. What is going on? Well, I hope the May flowers are as vibrant as the ones on my card today! They will brighten any day, don't you think?
Our challenge this week at Party Time Tuesdays is being sponsored by Glitterbabe Digis, and I was given these adorable rainboots! I couldn't resist! And, shouldn't all rain boots be fire engine red? YES! So, our theme this week is showers of all kinds! Upload your creations HERE! I have used the above sketch for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #112. It's a beauty, so check it out!

SCH Vintage Easter
Our challenge this week at Sugar Creek Hollow is to make a vintage Easter card. I combined quite a few elements this week to create my card. I've used two images from Sugar Creek Hollow -- Easter Wishes egg and the Dogwood branch.
I printed the Dogwood three times, colored it, and cut it out. Then, I layered it around the sentiment image, which is placed on a Nestability cut out. The finishing embellishments are Stampin Up satin ribbon and Basic Grey pearls. The paper is from Once Upon a Springtime by Graphic 45, and the cardstock is Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette from Stampin' Up.
If you would like to play along with us this week, please find more samples and details and upload your card HERE. Thanks for stopping by today!
