The cardstock is both Wild Wasabi and Real Red, and the designer paper is from Prima, a new 6x6 pack that I acquired. I colored my little ladybug friend with Copic markers, and I sponged the edges to give a type of barrier between the cut out shape and pale patterned paper that I used.
As is always my struggle, I tried to add more embellishments, and I just couldn't do it! It isn't me unless I know it feels right. That is why I always envy people who can pile on embellishments and make them look like masterpieces!
If you would like to join us this week, please follow the lovely sketch below and upload your creation HERE. Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you soon!

Great minds think a like! Love you little lady! She looks so happy with her bright yellow flowers and what a super red ribbon!
Your little lady bug is so happy and cheerful! What a flirty little thing she is, do you think she is looking for a little man bug? Your colors and texture are exactly the right amount, your copic coloring is awesome, this card would cheer up the most grouchy of people! Love it!!

Nancy, that ribbon is scruptious! I've never used that word before (in print anyways) but it fits here. You matched your paper, ribbon and ladybug PERFECTLY and that's so tough to do with red. I love the crisp, white flower against it too. This is so sweet. Love it!
That is a fun ladybug! And I'm terrible trying to add embellishments too - I just keep practicing, LOL! Love the wide ribbon and flower you added to yours. :)
