Our challenge this week at Sugar Creek Hollow is to make your own flowers! I made this lovely flower as part of a class, and it involved using double sided paper, several flower punches, water to spritz and crinkling the paper! Sounds like a lot of steps, but it was fun, and I really liked the result so I made it into a card! The wonderful sentiment is from Sugar Creek Hollow, and it is a quote from Henry David Thoreau. If you would like to join us this week, upload your card HERE.
Paper: June Bug by Basic Grey; Basic Black by Stampin' Up
Accessories: several SU and EK Success punches; black ricrac; brad

Nancy, this is such a fun, bright card! The colors in your flower are very cool. Even mother nature would be jealous. I've always loved that quote. It's so true.
OH WOW very clever Nancy and love that they match the background! Well done!! Awesome creation ... have a wonderful weekend!
The more I study this flower the more I love it! In fact this whole card is so uplifting and cheerful it is perfect for this week with all the chaos and disastrous news. As usual you come up with a winner from every angle, love it!!
