I Hit the Motherload!

I saw that Stef had made a post on her garage sale finds, so I thought, "why not take a picture of mine and share!" Well, here it is!! I had exactly an hour and a half yesterday morning to go to two community garage sales. I didn't even scratch the surface on the second community I went into (50+ homes had sales), but I got some great toys for Meredith (ranging from Barbie to Playmobil; games to play food). I have been wanting to sew on my cards, but something always stops me from using my $2000+ Bernina on a card. Well, I found one of those mini "As Seen on TV" machines for $2, so I thought, "why not?" My goal is to use that this week on one of my cards to test it out! The picture that I took is of the Stampin' Up loot that I found (I think it is worth between $150 and $200. Guess what I paid for it? $25!!! Can you believe that? I was ecstatic!! Like I need anything else, but you can't pass that up!!
And, I wanted to tell you of some blog candy that I have found!!
Have fun today!!! I'm going shopping, without a child!! Woohoo!!

Garage sales are always the best. I never go to them, but last fall a past Demo had e-mailed me that she was having a clearance sall of everything stamping she had. She sold hundreds of sets, ink pads, accessories and all kinds of stuff it was amazing prices and amazing finds, those sales are the best!!!

Congrats on your loot!!

Sorry to pester you again for information - the last time it was where I could purchase copics markers. Now I'm trying to locate a source for the Memento Black Tuxedo stamp pads that you and all the other bloggers are using. There are none in Salisbury, and today, in Charlotte, I couldn't find any either. Thanks for some information.

By the way, I read you every day, and love your creations.

Jean, I'll comment back!!! I found my Memento pad at Hobby Lobby...they have a few in the area (Matthews, Gastonia), but I do believe they may have this pad at Stamper's Alley in Mooresville! Let me know if you find it!
