FBW162 A Little Inspiration for YOU!

I realize that I didn't use sunflowers in my card, but that is the beauty of an inspiration photo...you take whatever you want from it and use it as a jumping off point. Plus, I didn't have any sunflowers!!

I've used this amazing little image from Whimsy and Stars Studio. She is drawn by Mabelle RO (you'll recognize her from the TAC catalog), and you can buy this digi image straight from Mabelle HERE.

Our challenge this week at Flutter By Wednesday is to use the picture below as inspiration for your project. It is a beautiful picture! Don't forget to include your butterfly, fairy, and/or angel on your creation! My butterflies are very small in the paper at the top of my card. However, they are there! Upload your card and see some other amazing samples HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today!

PTT23 A Double Header for you Today!!

I have a double header for you today at Party Time Tuesdays! We have some amazing sponsors this month at Party Time Tuesdays, and they are all listed below. However, I'm a bit partial to Paper Pretties, as you can imagine! The above card features a sepia card topper from Charlie's Ark, which is connected to Flower Soft. They are absolutely gorgeous images, and I used a tutorial from Flower Soft to just add watercolor pops of color to the image. The tutorial can be found HERE. The paper used in the above card is from one of our sponsors this month...The Robin's Nest. They totally spoiled us with amazing double-sided paper and great embellishments!

In the above card, I used my Dienamics dies from MFT, and I just love them!! I used a bit of Very Vanilla craft ink to whiten up the edges. I still can't find my Whisper White craft ink...it must be lost somewhere with all of my socks!! I used pastels from Stampin' Up to give a little color to my background with Tommy flying his kite. The sentiment is from Woodware USA.

If you would like to join in the party this week at Party Time Tuesdays, you can visit HERE for more details and to upload your card!

Summer Fun with Whimsy and Stars

I have this sweet little boy from Whimsy and Stars to share with you today! And, he is aptly named Watermelon Boy! He is designed by Mabelle RO for her very own Etsy shop. You may know Mabelle's images from The Angel Company, but she has her own designs available. They are so adorable...you have to check them out HERE!

I have used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #123 for the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Card Details:

Stamps: Watermelon Boy by Mabelle RO - Whimsy and Stars Studio; sentiment by Paper Pretties

Paper: Lauderdale by Basic Grey; Chocolate Chip by Stampin' Up

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Accessories: Copic markers; Nestabilities

Things are just Distressing!!

They are at Art Impressions this week!! Today is my last post as the guest designer for Art Impressions, and I was able to use this wonderful photo polymer set from them called Mouthfuls-Frog, and he is so darn cute!! The distressing is minimal in my card, but it is there, around the edges of the Nestabilities piece!

The idea of the Mouthfuls stamps is to use the main image and cut a slit in the mouth of the image. From there, you have many accessories to put in the mouth! Well, you know that I love to cut out images, so this was a little bit of relaxation for me! If you would like to join in with the challenge this week, please visit HERE.

Card Details:

Stamps: Mouthfuls - Frog by Art Impressions

Paper: Eva by Basic Grey; Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive by Stampin' Up

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Accessories: Copic markers; Nestabilities; Silver pen; SU ribbon; EK Success border punch
