FBW187 Embossing!
For some reason, I wound up with a similar color scheme today as I did with last week! And, I used the same stamp set! I felt so guilty that this beautiful SU set -- Precious Butterflies -- wasn't getting any love at all!
This week our challenge at Flutter By Wednesday is to use any kind of embossing. Well, I had to use both wet and dry embossing...why not, right? My embossing tool hadn't been used in a while, so "it" was happy to accommodate! I used an old lilac from Stampin' Up for the flourish, a purple glitter embossing powder from Judykins, and a dry embossing template from Cuttlebug for the edge of the Elegant Eggplant (a little harder to see)!
If you would like to join us this week, please feel free to do so! You can upload your cards HERE! Thank you for stopping by today!

FBW186 Just For You!
Hello Flutter By fans...I'm trying to inject a little spring into my January! I love this Wisteria Wonder from Stampin' Up, and technically this card is all Stampin' Up with the exception of using Nestabilities to cut my scalloped circles. The designer paper is from a pack called Woodland Walk, and it was on SU's clearance rack...great deals to be had there!
We would love to have you join us this week at Flutter By Wednesday! It is an open challenge this week--just don't forget your butterfly, angel, or fairy! Upload your card and gather more information HERE!

PTT51 Happy Birthday from Stampendous!
Welcome to the party!! This is our 51st challenge at Party Time Tuesdays, and we are celebrating birthdays this week! So, bring out your birthday projects and cards and join us this week HERE!
We have a wonderful sponsor this week -- Stampendous! They furnished us with a clear set of stamps, and I was able to get back into my vintage groove a bit this week! The set is aptly called Time Flies, and we were also given color fragments (mine in sage). It was fun to figure out a way to showcase them.
I built my card around the sage colored fragments, and I used it as sort of a ribbon of fragments. To adhere them, I simply ran a line of Crystal Effects from Stampin' Up across the paper. I poured it on and shook off the excess. Voila!
Thanks for stopping by today...I hope you will join the party this week!
Card Details:
Stamps: Time Flies Perfectly Clear set from Stampendous
Paper: Webster's Pages designer paper; Early Espresso and Naturals Cream from Stampin' Up
Ink: Early Espresso and Sage by Archival Ink
Accessories: Stampendous Frantage sage color fragments; Martha Stewart border punch; Crystal Effects by SU

Party Time Tuesdays (PTT49) - Something New in the New Year
Our theme this week at Party Time Tuesdays is "something new" that we received over the holidays! Well, can you believe that the only craft things that I received new were two trays to hold my Cricut cartridges. Well, that doesn't translate well into a card using something new, does it? However, the images that I have used in both of my cards are new, and I have never used them. In fact, my second card is made from an image from a company that I have never worked with before. That definitely qualifies as NEW! We are being sponsored this week by the Waxed Fruit Company, and they have some awesome images! I also did a card with an image from Crafts and Me, as they are another of our sponsors this week!
We hope that you will join us this week to party with the party planners! If you would like to upload your card or find more information, please visit HERE. There are always amazing prizes to be handed out!
Card Details:
Stamps: (card 1) Gift of Winter by Crafts and Me; (card 2) Bunny Eggs by Waxed Fruit Company

Ink: Daffodil Delight by SU for sponging on both cards

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge - Clean and Simple
What a way to start off the new year! A clean and simple card with a hip-shaking Zumba hippo!! It doesn't get better than that!! I actually used an earlier sentiment to go with my lovable Hippo, so these sentiments are very versatile! And, you have to love Simmons the mouse with his hoard of junk food! Boy, I've had my fill of that lately! So, it's time to dust off the sneakers, hunt for the food scale, and whip our bodies back into shape for 2012! Swimsuit season isn't that far off!
