It's my last post with the Party Time Tuesdays team. I've had a lot of fun creating birthday cards every week, and I will miss this time on Tuesdays! Thanks to Kristie and Dianna for making it so much fun!
It's Monday, and we have snow on the ground! My toes were a bit frozen yesterday just like these adorable frogs' legs are in my card! Monday means new digital images from Artish for Paper Pretties! Next Monday is the official kickoff of our tenure as the Digi team from Paper Pretties, but we are warming up quite nicely with this week's image. Frozen Froglegs is the title, and it is available from Paper Pretties HERE. Dr. Feelgood is also being premiered today at Paper Pretties. ARTish is amazing, and it is really fun to use her creations each week!
Wow, I survived Christmas!! Barely!! We got a little snowy surprise on Christmas night, so Sunday was spent playing in the snow. That is a novelty here in Charlotte, NC, but it is nice when it only lasts a day or two. Having grown up near Buffalo, NY, snow usually lasted from Halloween until Easter, so it was easy to get sick of the white stuff!
It's Tuesday, and we have a color combo challenge for you this week at Party Time Tuesdays--red, green, and white! Perfect timing for me as I needed a birthday card for my father-in-law. I decided to go very low-tech with designing the sketch this week for Woodware USA's challenge. Check out the details and enter your card HERE. I actually constructed the sketch in a word processing program, but initially I had difficulty translating it into a picture. So, I just decided to make the sketch out of cardstock and take a picture of it. Well, one of our more high tech designers (Kerry) on our Woodware team was able to translate it for me, but I had already done this one. So, this week, we will be old-fashioned!! And, this is my first official sketch that I have designed...woohoo!! 
I have used the Deck the Halls designer paper from Stampin' Up along with Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler. The stamp set is Holly Swirls by Woodware USA, and I finally was able to ink it up! It is a beautiful set! The sentiment is also Woodware USA, and it is Traditional Christmas Greetings. I used Copic markers to color the image and Nestabilities to cut the scalloped ovals! 
Greetings all!! I tried to use one of the digis from Sugar Creek Hollow that I hadn't used yet. That was our challenge this week, and I had a lot of fun with the ones that I chose. We are going to be taking a two week break for the holidays, but we will be back January 8th with some fresh designs for you!
Two quick and almost identical Christmas cards! I found these lovely little cards for October Afternoon at Archivers this past weekend! I knew that they would make super fun Christmas cards...just love the old Dick and Jane books!

The BIG news? I was selected to be a member of the first ever Paper Pretties Digi Design Team! I'm so excited...I had to contain myself since I found out, but today is the day to tell you all! Our official term starts in January, but we have some images to share with you a little early! These are the new Monday releases from the awesomely talented ARTish for Paper Pretties. It's the weekend!! And, we all know what the weekends are like in December...BUSY!! I hope that all of you are well and that you are handling the stress well. I know that I often get caught up in all of the things to do in the holiday season! This year, I'm trying my best to remember to relax and concentrate on the true reason for this holiday--the birth of Jesus. That is my true Christmas Joy!

This is Meredith's school picture from this year...she is growing up so fast! I can't believe that she is 6 already. Where does the time go? Happy Birthday, Sweet Pea! 
Happy December everyone! I know that this month will fly by, so I'm trying to get my calendar in order for the holidays. I still don't have all of my Christmas cards made, but I'm halfway there, so that is a good thing! I think my Cricut is going to see lots of action in the coming weeks!

My friend Jennifer has a beautiful Golden Retriever named Scout, and when I saw this set from The Angel Company, I knew that I must own it!! I'm sure that every card I give her now will have some version of this image on it!!
It's a Tipsy Tree for this week's Woodware USA challenge. I actually made an A-2 size card...trying to kill two birds with one stone (make a challenge card and make a Christmas card for sending to friends and relatives). I'm getting there, but there is going to be some serious scrambling coming ahead!

It's Thanksgiving Eve, and I'm running around like a "turkey" with its head cut off! So many preparations, but I wanted to take the time to say thank you to my blog readers who visit and comment on my creations. You are all a blessing to me as you give me the inspiration to keep creating these cards. Our challenge this week at Flutter By Wednesday was to make a thank you card in honor of Thanksgiving. I'm so thankful for the Flutter By Wednesday challenge and team and especially Danni. She is one of the most positive and uplifting people I know, and she's an inspiration to all of us! One image, two designer papers, three different types of embellishments...that is how easy 1-2-3 really is! I used this wonderful designer paper from Kristie, one of our fearless leaders at Party Time Tuesdays! This was a fun card to do, and I was able to use it for one of my daughter's friends on her 6th birthday. I like to bring out my Greeting Farm stamps every once in a while! They are just so fun!
