Woodware USA Challenge #6 - Gettin' Sketchy!

SCH Believe in Santa Claus
I used the Christmas Plaque to make a background paper, and I printed it out on a piece of Basic Grey Mistletoe and Pear. I mounted it on Basic Black, and the card base is Riding Hood Red. I then printed out the Santa Claus card on Riding Hood Red, cut it down, and rounded the corners. I added black pearls to the tips of the letters. I printed the "Believe" sentiment (my absolute favorite) on Riding Hood Red and used my small oval punch from Stampin' Up and mounted it on the next highest size of punch. I finished off the look with silver pearls in the corner and a faux bow on the bottom. The Santa bingo card is from a set from October Afternoon that I purchased recently at Archivers. My little Santa in the background is a Swedish Santa candle holder...isn't he cute?
I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and the most blessed New Year!

FBW135 Merry Christmas Break!
Danni is looking for a few talented paper crafters to join us on the FBW team, so check out the DT call HERE for more information! We are saying goodbye to our awesome guest designer, Erin. She has so much talent...stop by and say "hi" to her! And, I'm so excited to welcome back Kristie to our team. She is a former member of the team who came back to join us again. It's been so much fun for me to work with Kristie on both the Flutter By team and as part of her awesome design team at her challenge blog, Party Time Tuesdays. Give her a warm welcome back!
I borrowed this Sweet Pea stamp from my friend, Dawn because she has them all! I knew I wanted to get a little extra fussy for this card because it was our last before the "break." She is a beauty. I used the Sizzix Poinsettia die for the background...boy, was that a lot of cutting!
Thanks for stopping by today, and don't forget to catch the blog hop on January 5th!

YIPPEE...Some "Prettie" AWESOME News!!
The BIG news? I was selected to be a member of the first ever Paper Pretties Digi Design Team! I'm so excited...I had to contain myself since I found out, but today is the day to tell you all! Our official term starts in January, but we have some images to share with you a little early! These are the new Monday releases from the awesomely talented ARTish for Paper Pretties. I have really come to love digital images, and I hope you will visit the Paper Pretties blog and site and buy some for yourself!!
My card today is reminding me of past summers at the campground that my parents owned. It was so fun to sit by the campfire and roast marshmallows. We were actually able to take our daughter this summer to that same campground and camp for a few days.
Stay tuned on Mondays for more Paper Pretties creations!

PTTC24 Happy 6th Birthday, Meredith!
Our theme this week at Party Time Tuesdays is to use balloons!! Find details and upload HERE. I was so excited that the challenge fell on my little girl's birthday! I love this new image that I received from The Angel Company! It's a cute one!! The 6 was cut from Plantin Schoolbook, and the card shape was cut from Christmas Cards for the Cricut! The sentiment is from the Teddy Remembers set by Woodware USA.
This is Meredith's school picture from this year...she is growing up so fast! I can't believe that she is 6 already. Where does the time go? Happy Birthday, Sweet Pea!

Woodware USA Challenge #2 - Happy Birthday!!
Today is Monday, so shake off the blues! We had a whirlwind weekend, and it is only going to be more whirlwind this week, so I better buckle my seat belt! Today's challenge at Woodware USA is going to be to make a birthday card! You may need your sunglasses for this one!
I needed to step aside from the fall, winter, and Christmas cards that I have been making lately and take a glimpse at spring!! I am really starting to love the new yellow, Daffodil Delight, from Stampin' Up. It is gorgeous, and it is paired with Melon Mambo here!

Sugar Creek Hollow - Glory to God in the Highest
We were challenged to use a new technique this week called Faux Barn Board. You can find a tutorial HERE in case you haven't tried it!! I had some oopsies with it, but I think it turned out fairly well considering!
I kept my card simple today so that the image would truly shine forth. It was drawn by a young woman in Poland, and she did a spectacular job!
We are getting into the Christmas spirit and looking forward to this advent season! Blessings to you all!
