Well, the calendar may say it’s fall, but the 90+ temperatures and drought conditions would indicate otherwise! I’m hoping for crisp temperatures, vivid colors and wonderful aromas…I’ll just have to settle for a fall card!
This week’s challenge was to use the digi—Lord of the Harvest in our card. I wanted to keep this card simple…I can seriously run the risk of over embellishing my cards if left to my own devices. I had to reign it in this week and use restraint. I thought the curvy rectangles from Nestabilities would be a perfect shape for my card, along with some dry embossing! I paired the image with Riding Hood Red and Old Olive by Stampin’ Up. I topped off the card with Copic markers and taffeta ribbon from Stampin’ Up. Of course I took out my trusty Bow Easy for the perfect triple bow!!

Remember to stop back next Saturday for a wonderful Sugar Creek Hollow blog hop featuring Christmas images. Somehow, the air is going to become crisp!! Thanks for stopping by!!

I like how you kept the tag as the focus of the card. The bow is very pretty. I've been wanting a bow maker for a while now.
Very pretty card. We have temps at 90's her as well. Certainly doesn't look like fall here either.
Great card Nancy! I love how you used the spellbinders dies - I have those and will have to case this idea! I like your color combination for this card too!
Nancy....I am in LOVE with the shape of your card. So beautiful and I have not seen this die. Just the perfect compliment to the image. We are hot here too but getting some cooler days coming this week. Blessings to you my friend. Tracy
Your choice of colors are just beautiful, those dies are really perfect for this image and I am love with the embossing. You made this card elegant without adding alot of embellies to take away from your focal point, just beautiful!!
