Sugar Creek Hollow - Glory to God in the Highest

... and peace to His people on Earth. This wonderful digital image is available at Sugar Creek Hollow, and you can find it HERE. It is such an amazing work of art!

We were challenged to use a new technique this week called Faux Barn Board. You can find a tutorial HERE in case you haven't tried it!! I had some oopsies with it, but I think it turned out fairly well considering!

I kept my card simple today so that the image would truly shine forth. It was drawn by a young woman in Poland, and she did a spectacular job!

We are getting into the Christmas spirit and looking forward to this advent season! Blessings to you all!

PTTC22 - As easy as 1-2-3

One image, two designer papers, three different types of embellishments...that is how easy 1-2-3 really is! I used this wonderful designer paper from Kristie, one of our fearless leaders at Party Time Tuesdays! This was a fun card to do, and I was able to use it for one of my daughter's friends on her 6th birthday. I like to bring out my Greeting Farm stamps every once in a while! They are just so fun!

We'd love to have you join us this week at Party Time Tuesdays for some fun! Just remember that in addition to follow the challenge of 1-2-3, you must create a birthday card that has a sentiment that indicates that on the front! Upload your creation HERE!

Also, don't forget that Party Time Tuesdays is having a design team call, and the details can be found HERE. It's always a party!

Card Details:
Stamps: Princess Anya by The Greeting Farm
Paper: Unknown dsp; Close to Cocoa and Pink Pirouette by Stampin' Up
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Woodware USA Challenge #2-One Layer Card

I did it, and it was so freeing...only one layer to this card!! I can't believe it!! Our challenge this week at Woodware USA is to make a one-layer card. And, you can WIN A STAMP SET!! Enter in our challenge, and you will receive one entry into the monthly drawing. Use a WOODWARE USA stamp, and you will receive TWO chances to WIN!! Doesn't get any better than that! And, there aren't a lot of entries so far, so your chances are exponentially better! What are you waiting for? Check out the design team samples and details HERE!!

I have used the set I Love Snowmen by Woodware USA, and it is one of my favorites. I used the button stamp to make a border around my main image. I colored both the snowman and button images with Copics. Then, I enhanced the buttons with Spica Glitter Pens. From there, I used Stickles to make the Snowmen sparkle, and I used Liquid Applique to make the trim puffy! Fun, fun, fun! The card measures 4 1/4 inches square...can't wait to send it out for my holiday cards!

Cheers...thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to enter the challenge before next Sunday at 8:00 pm.

SCH Sensational Harvest Blessings

Our challenge this week was to use a digi that hadn't been used, so I chose to use Blue Plate Special image from Sugar Creek Hollow. I loved the image the minute I saw it, but I hadn't gotten around to using it. When I was planning this week's card, I got the idea of putting the plates on sparkly chargers, then putting them on a table runner. I made the table runner by adding lace to the edges and running the paper through the Cuttlebug to give it some texture. The sentiment is also from Sugar Creek Hollow.

Tracy has added the most exquisite new image to the store. I had already made my card for this week, but this drawing of the baby Jesus in the manger is awe-inspiring. Check it out HERE.

Card Details:
Paper: Night of Navy and shimmery white cardstock by Stampin' Up; Shimmer blue by unknown
Accessories: Cuttlebug embossing folder; lace trim; SU circle punches

FBW131 Butterfly Angel

Happy Flutter By Wednesday everyone!! We have an open challenge for you this week, and we hope you will join us! Just remember to include a butterfly, angel, and/or fairy on your card. Link it up HERE and dazzle us!

I was able to use two images from Sugar Creek Hollow this week on my FBW card. I printed the Butterfly Angel image on designer paper from My Mind's Eye, and I was really pleased with how it turned out!! I added the small snowflakes to accent that image. The "Believe" sentiment is also from Sugar Creek Hollow, and I used a ribbon slide set from Nestabilities to make it. The black satin ribbon is from Stampin' Up along with Riding Hood Red and Basic Black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by today...see you again soon!

PTTC21 Easel Card

It's Tuesday, and it's time to PARTY!! Our challenge this week at Party Time Tuesdays is to make an easel card. I hadn't made one in a while, so this was a treat. I used my DeLovely paper by Cosmo Cricket for the ever-classic pink and black combination. Isn't it a great combo? I LOVE black satin ribbon! We'd love to see your easel cards, so check out this tutorial HERE to make one. Then, upload your creation at Party Time Tuesdays and share it with the world.

Tip:
The tutorial is for a 4 1/4 inch card. My card is 5 1/2 inch square, so cut your main piece of cardstock--5 1/2 x 11 inches. From there, score on the 5 1/2 (down the middle) and score 2 3/4 from the other end. This will work perfectly, although you may have to maneuver a little to get the 2 3/4. I usually measure and score the line from there on my Scor Pal.

Card Details:
Stamps: None
Paper: DeLovely by Cosmo Cricket; Melon Mambo
and Basic Black by Stampin' Up
Ink: None
Accessories: Cricut; Cuttlebug embossing folder; Nestabilities
(Scrapmart exclusive); SU black satin ribbon; black pearls
