FBW88 A Christmas Butterfly
We have quite a treat for you today at Flutter By Wednesday! The very talented Mercy Kerin has designed a sketch challenge for us this week. I love, love, LOVE sketches, and I was very excited to tackle this one!! We would all love to see what your take on the sketch is this week...just don't forget to also include a butterfly, fairy, and/or angel on your card! That's the most important element, right? You can link your creation up HERE when you are finished! Don't forget that in the New Year we will have our new home, the Flutter By Wednesday blog!I did something a little different with my butterfly. First, I took this image found HERE. It is an ornament, and it was a free download from Rusty Pickle Digital Delights. I printed two each of two different sizes, and I created a butterfly. Then, I used an Accucut die cut, and I cut it down to just the body...it fit perfectly! Kismet! I wanted to make it a Christmasy butterfly, especially with it being an ornament and all! Voila!
