Things are just Distressing!!

They are at Art Impressions this week!! Today is my last post as the guest designer for Art Impressions, and I was able to use this wonderful photo polymer set from them called Mouthfuls-Frog, and he is so darn cute!! The distressing is minimal in my card, but it is there, around the edges of the Nestabilities piece!

The idea of the Mouthfuls stamps is to use the main image and cut a slit in the mouth of the image. From there, you have many accessories to put in the mouth! Well, you know that I love to cut out images, so this was a little bit of relaxation for me! If you would like to join in with the challenge this week, please visit HERE.

Paper: Eva by Basic Grey; Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive by Stampin' Up

Mature Ladies Have All the Fun!!

Our challenge this week over at Art Impressions was to use a handmade flower. Well, I had the handmade flower, I just needed to build the card around it! Have you done that? Had one small element, and you need to build the card around it? Usually, I just start with the colored image...this week a little backwards! If you would like to join the challenge, please visit HERE. My card above uses the stamp called Out to Lunch in the Golden Oldies collection. The paper is June Bug by Basic Grey.

The second card is from last week that I forgot to upload...how could I forget that? This looks like a super fun road trip, doesn't it? I can only imagine the bad behavior!! This image is called Shoppers Front (this is part of one of AI's front and back images), and it is also from the Golden Oldies collection. Of course, I had to put Mimi on the front in honor of our Mimi! The paper in the above card is from Stampin' Up.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Art Impressions - Monochromatic Challenge #19

Let's Do Lunch!! These lovely ladies can only be doing one thing -- gossiping!! Or else swapping doctor stories! I was asked to be the guest designer at ART Impressions this month, and it is fun to step out of my box and use some fun stamps!! They have a challenge each week, and the prizes are awesome!

This week's challenge is to make your card monochromatic. Well, the few Art Impressions images that I have are very detailed, so that posed another challenge in my mind. How do I make it monochromatic. Well, I decided to pull a little trick and only coloring a few pieces of the image in the color that I had selected. Who doesn't love pink?

If you would like to join us this week, please visit HERE to upload your card and see other fabulous creations!
